Now here’s another reason to swoon over the Queen (as if we really need any more reasons why)…
Beyonce has been named most charitable celebrity of 2016 by DoSomething.org on its annual Celebs Gone Good list, which recognizes celebrities who use their platforms for social change.
Queen Bey brought awareness to a number of causes this year including, Black Lives Matter the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, and gender equality.
The pop superstar was also recognized for bringing attention to victims of gun violence and made headlines back in August after walking the MTV VMA red carpet with the mothers of gun violence victims: Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Oscar Grant and Trayvon Martin, who are often called the Mothers of the Movement.
Other celebs who made the list are Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.
Now that's what I like to call bey-ing the change you want to see.
