Meek Mill On Concert Shooting: ‘Don't Believe The Hype! This Story is Made Up!’

Within the last couple of hours the internet has flooded with media reports and civilian footage surrounding a shooting that took place last night outside of rapper Meek Mill concert -- held at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford Connecticut.

Since the incident, news sources have reported at least 2 fatalities and 2 people have been injured as a result of the gunfire.

But the ‘All Eyes on You’ rapper is encouraging fans and readers not to believe the hype.

In an Instagram post, that has since been deleted, Meek said:

“How did four different people get shot from the sound of one gunshot? I’m sure it’s a 100 other videos out there…or the people of CT SPEAK UP ON THESE FALSE ALLEGATIONS! NEVER HAD TO ADDRESS STUFF LIKE THIS BUT ITS BLATANT THIS STORY WAS SUPER MADE UP TO MAKE MY CONCERT LOOK A CERTAIN WAY SO I CAN’T GET MY PAPER! Nice one…”

It isn’t clear whether or not the incident had anything to do with Meek, or if any concert goers actually fell victim to the shooting, but one thing for certain, regardless of the “he said, she said,” is that the investigation is still underway.

Prayers for any possible victims…(and for Meek to be able to collect his coins).

Story developing…
