Sexism, misogyny, and total lack of respect for a brand that took 14 years to create are all claims KeKe Palmer is throwing Trey Songz's way after the singer put her in a video without her consent.
In an Instagram venting, Keke uploaded a still shot of herself sitting on a couch while gazing at her phone with the caption, “This was not approved. You cannot use someone’s likeness without their approval. Casing point of female disrespect in the industry.”
Attached to the posted image was also a lengthy explanation of why KeKe was so angry after seeing the unapproved clip of her on worldstarhiphop.com
“This is preposterous. How am I in this video Trey? After you found me in a closet HIDING because I was so afraid of anymore conflict.” Palmer continued, “Just cause you give someone food and alcohol and throw in a little sexual intimidation doesn't mean they will buckle.”
And just in case anyone missed where she was coming from in THAT post, KeKe took time to upload an additional vid clarifying exactly what went down in detail and why she was so bothered by Trey’s stunt.
“Life is life. This stuff happens everyday ain't no different in "hollywood." I guess I should say sorry for being real, but I won't.”
I’m guessing the women’s marches that have taken place today have us all a bit fired up. Looking for Trey to respond in 5,4,3,2…
UPDATE: Well that didn't take too long now did it!? Trey Songz has a message for KeKe Palmer and it's simply (or not simply put) to pick up the phone.
"I don't do this twitter sh@t, girl you know me and got my number f@ck outta here."
