The life of a superstar athlete is filled with highs and lows and Odell Beckham Jr.’s career is certainly no exception.
On Sunday, January 8th, Beckham Jr., wide-receiver for the New York Giants, allegedly punched a hole in a wall after suffering a devastating 38-13 loss to the Packers in Greenbay, Wisconsin.
According to ESPN’s Sal Paolantonio, grounds crew members of the stadium said they heard someone hitting the wall outside the crew’s locker room at Lambeau Field. The locker room sat adjacent to the interview room where Beckham, 24, had just spoken with reporters.
As grounds crew members came out of the locker room, they saw Beckham and the hole in the wall.
Paolantonio alleges that Beckham then banged his head against the door outside the Giants locker room.
Security for the NFL has collected evidence and witness testimony, but are still investigating the incident.
A Giants spokesman says the team is aware of the incident but are declining to comment.
