Carlos Santana on Beyonce's Grammy Loss: 'She's Beatiful to Look at but Not A Singer'

Lawd here we go . . .

Acclaimed musician Carlos Santanna recently sat down with AAP to discuss a variety of topics.

Once asked about Adele's major win at the Grammys, the TWO-TIME Grammy winner gave the singer glowing reviews. Carlos said, I think Adele won because she can sing . . . she doesn’t bring all the dancers and props, she can just stand there and she just stood there and sang the song and that’s it, and this is why she wins.”

Carlos didn't stop there. He also had some thoughts on Beyonce, who he performed with at the Super Bowl once before.

On the topic of Beyonce, Carlos had a lot to say. Carlos states, "With all respect to our sister Beyoncé, Beyoncé is very beautiful to look at and it’s just more like modeling kind of music– music to model a dress.” He went to to say that the “Formation” artist is “not a singer, singer, with all respect to her.”

Woah.

Carlos has attempted to clean up his words since being attacked by the Beyhive on Twitter. Carlos states via Facebook status:

I would like to clarify a comment that was reported when I was doing an interview for some upcoming shows in Australia & New Zealand. My intent was to congratulate Adele on her amazing night at the Grammies. My comment about Beyonce was regretfully taken out of context. I have the utmost respect for her as an artist and a person. She deserves all the accolades that come her way. I wish Beyonce and her family all the best.

Do you think it's a little too late for all that?
