Day 3 of my New York Fashion Week(end) (day 4 of the shows) and freezing rain decided to grace the shows this day. My amazing photographer Paulo captured me in the best way on this uncontrollably rainy and cold day, and the shows were magnificent.
At Marcel Ostertag I was wowed by the words being played over the speakers because they were not lyrics to a song, but words from Ronald Reagan and Emma Stone speaking on certain issues relating to humanity. I went to a little café and met a woman named Gigi Guerra who happened to be going to Gypsy Sport at the same time as I. She just so happened to love my outfit and I loved hers just the same, so I invited her into my Uber, and in return she got me second row seating for the fashion show!
Gypsy sport was super energetic with drummers from off the streets playing the tune for the models to walk down the runway too. I met Cardi B and her amazing stylist Mikiel Benyamin, and got to see “it” model Shaun Ross.
After all of this I went to the Namilia show later in the night where the anti-Trump propaganda was everywhere! Jackets with the word “Trumpacolypse” were presented to the watchers, and I doubt anybody was too against the message being sent.
I’m super sad that the weekend has come to an end but my schooling must continue, and New York must let go of all the fashionistas gracing streetstyle blogs everywhere. Until next time NYFW!
