NBA All-Star Weekend 2017: What You Should Watch

The NBA All-Star weekend starts today. The weekend-long event is in New Orleans this year. Here is a list of some of the exciting events:

Today’s Events

1.     The All-Star Celebrity Game starts at 7pm (ET) on ESPN.

The West team’s lineup includes:

  •    Mark Cuban (Dallas Mavericks Owner)
  •    Candace Parker (Los Angeles Sparks)
  •    Master P (actor, recording artist)
  •    Baron Davis (NBA Legend)
  •    Anthony Mackie (actor)

 

The East team’s lineup includes:

  •     Lindsay Whalen (WNBA Player)
  •     Nick Cannon (actor, recording artist)
  •     Jason Williams (NBA Legend)
  •     Marc Lasry (Milwaukee Bucks Owner)
  •     Win Butler (musician)

2.     The Rising Stars Challenge begins at 9pm (ET).

There is a U.S. Team roster and a World Team roster. Devin Booker (Suns), Brandon Ingram (Lakers), and Jahlil Okafor (76ers) are representing the U.S.  Alex Abrines (Thunder), Buddy Hield (Nuggets), and Dante Exum (Jazz) are representing the World Team.

 

Saturday, Feb. 18

At 8pm (ET), the most entertaining contests begin.

1.     The Skills Challenge

The participants for this year are:

2.     The Three-Point Contest. Let’s see who can get the most three-pointers this year.

3.     The Slam Dunk Contest. The runner-up from last year’s Slam Dunk Contest is back again. Will he get the most votes?

Sunday, Feb. 19

The All-Star game is at 8pm (ET) on TNT. Which team will win…East vs. West?
