Saturday Songs: 3 New Songs Released This Week

1.     Sevyn Streeter released a new song on Valentine’s Day. She teamed up with Luke James for a cover of Lauryn Hill and D’Angelo’s “Nothing Even Matters.” Their two voices definitely mesh well together. Plus, these two singers have the ability to hit those sensational, high notes.

2.     Kirko Bangz dropped a new song “Validation.” It’s the first single off his upcoming album, Soul Food.  He begins the song with: “I know you like it when a man says you’re pretty as hell. But take a look in the mirror, girl, I know you can tell.” Kirko wanted to make an important statement with this song. In his Instagram post, he said: “I wrote this song to inspire and motivate our women.”

3. On Thursday, Trey Songz officially started his promotion for his upcoming album Tremaine. He released his first single off the album, “Nobody Else But You.” Trey also shared the music video for it, and the artwork for the album. Tremaine is scheduled to release on March 24, but you can pre-order it on iTunes now.
