College Football Player Allegedly Kills Ex-Girlfriend Then Memorializes Her in a Long Tweet

In today’s edition of things that make you go RUUUUN!

William Gaul, an 18-year-old college football player, was indicted this week for stalking and killing his cheerleader ex-girlfriend, Emma Walker, after the couple broke things off in October according to PEOPLE.

Gaul, a student and wide receiver for Maryville College in Tennessee, has since been released on $1 million bond but faces charges of shooting his 16-year-old ex through the walls of her bedroom while she was sleeping.

Walker’s family alleges they sensed things were getting out of hand when they noticed William stalking Emma after their break up.

Police believe Gaul stole his grandfather’s gun to kill his girlfriend and shortly afterwards tried to rid of the weapon before police arrested him in November.

And the creepiest part of all? Shortly after committing the murder Gaul updated his bio and posted a long love filled tweet reminiscing about the memories the two shared when she was alive.

His Twitter bio reads, “Living everyday through Emma Walker. I love you beautiful and I know you’re in a better place now.”

Gaul is facing arraignment on February 13th.

Ya’ll better know who you’re messing with. Throwing prayers over this entire situation.
