1. Jason Derulo teams up with two trending rappers for his new jam “Swalla.” This is definitely one-of-a-kind music collaboration. Both Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki Minaj add their own flavor to the song. The song has a contagious flow with a mixture of beats that sound like Reggae and Hip Hop beats. Each artist brings his or her own spice, which creates a dance-worthy song.
2. The music video director for Maybach Music Group, Carlos Suarez (Spiff TV), produced the song “Just As I Am.” R&B singer Chris Brown and Bachata singer Prince Royce unite their melodic voices together to bring on the romance. Some of the lyrics are in English, while others are in Spanish. Chris Brown even sings a little in Spanish. This is all part of an upcoming project from Spiff TV. It will feature songs from Hip Hop/R&B artists teaming up with Latin artists.
3. Future dropped off a 17-track album yesterday called Hndrxx. Rihanna is featured in the song “Selfish.” The slow tempo song begins with Rihanna singing “It was right, even though it felt wrong.” Her voice fits perfectly with the beats. Future did a great job in choosing RiRi as his collaborator.
