What in the Doctor’s orders name is this?
In the land of stranger things… A North Carolina mother made recent headlines after catching a daycare worker on surveillance breastfeeding her three-month old son without her permission.
Kaycee Oxendine, who works at Carrboro Early School where the incident took place, said the worker asked if she could breastfeed her son after finding out he was constipated. According to ABC 11 Oxedine told her no twice iterating that she “doesn’t do things like that.”
“She said that she had a son and did I want her to put my child to her breast and breastfeed and I said no, that's nasty. We don't do things like that.”
Suspicious the childcare worker would go against her wishes, Oxedine recorded security footage inside the school and was outraged to find the woman unbuttoning her top to breastfeed her son.
“As a mom, you've taken something from me, because I wasn't able to defend my child. I wasn’t there.”
To make matters worse, hours later Oxedine had to rush her son to the hospital due to him falling ill from the breast milk. As it turns out the baby was born premature and is intolerant of any milk products.
The daycare’s director, Daron Council, said nothing like this has ever happened in one of the facilities and that as soon as he caught wind of the situation he informed the Department of Health and Human Services as well as the parents of the children who were under the woman’s care that day.
Since then, the daycare worker has been fired and police are currently investigating the situation.
I mean…but what is there to investigate? Men lie, women lie, surveillance don’t lie.
