Famed Magician Chriss Angel Rushed To ER After Passing Out During a Las Vegas Act

Where’s the magic when you need it the most…

Magician Criss Angel was rushed to a Vegas ER Friday after passing out during a straitjacket performance that went horribly wrong.

According to TMZ, the 49-year-old went unconscious during his Mindfreak Live! act while hanging upside down in a harness attempting to escape.

After reportedly spinning in vain for a grueling 2 minutes the illusionist was lowered down and rushed to the hospital. Eyewitnesses say the show was cancelled just 10 minutes into the opening act, and once the curtains closed guest were ushered out soon afterwards.

Criss was taken to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center's emergency room, about 4 miles away, and discharged the same night. A source tells TMZ he walked out on his own sometime before 10 PM.

This isn't the first time one of Angel's straitjacket stunts went wrong. In 2013, he injured his shoulder while dangling in a straitjacket above Times Square.

There’s no word on what went wrong or how Chriss’s health is holding up, but hopefully he’s fine, and things will be back to normal soon.

A bit of advice to Chriss: You GOTS to be more careful…
