But, how Sway?...And why?
An Uber driver, carrying a passenger, was recently caught on surveillance hauling tail through a gas station before smashing into one of the pumps and setting off a very scary and fiery explosion.
The accident occurred Monday night in North Seattle at a local Shell Station, on Holman and 4th Avenue, where witnesses say they watched a 2007 Nissan X-Terra go airborne before skidding past two gas pumps and crashing into a third.
According to KOMO, the passenger and driver miraculously survived the accident and were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Unfortunately the same luck didn’t spew over for another passenger who was also reportedly involved in the incident. More witnesses say this driver, who was in a Honda Accord, was clipped by the speeding SUV, which pushed the driver off the road into a tree that split in half.
The driver was freed from the vehicle and rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Uber spokesman Tracey Breeden released a statement saying:
“Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of those involved in this terrible accident and the driver has been removed from the app.”
Outside of prayers and well wishes for the situation and Honda driver is anybody else seeing Uber dollar signs? Nonetheless, get well soon!
