A Texas Teen Confesses She Lied about Being Abducted and Raped By ‘Three Black Males’

Why does this keep happening? It’s 2017 for crying out loud.

A Texas teen confessed her claims of being kidnapped and gang raped by “three black males” were false according to police who investigated the situation.

Breana Harmon Talbott was reported missing earlier this month by her fiancé, who said he found her car with its door open and personal effects such as her phone nearby.

Later that day, the 18-year-old resurfaced in the city of Denison, interrupting a service at a local church by walking in with visible scratches, only wearing a shirt, bra and underwear.

Talbott told police that she was abducted, taken to a wooded area near the church and gang-raped by men wearing ski masks that she described as “three black males.”

I’m guessing the young lad didn’t think a medical exam would be encouraged after such an allegation as the teen’s cover was quickly blown once she received a checkup from multiple medical examiners who confirmed they “were unable to corroborate that Talbott had been sexually assaulted."

Denison police said in a statement released Wednesday, two weeks after the alleged incident, that detectives soon developed doubts about her account and that the teen admitted to the hoax on Tuesday night. Talbott also admitted to staging the church entrance and cutting her own body.

The police statement also shed light on the damage it’s caused their community, specifically African Americans.

“Breana Harmon Talbott’s hoax was also insulting to our community and especially offensive to the African-American community due to her description of the so-called suspects in her hoax. The anger and hurts caused from such a hoax are difficult and all so unnecessary.”

Talbott now faces a misdemeanor charge of making a false report to a police officer.

Oh the lengths people will go SMH. I’m starting to think this level of stupidity could be hereditary.
