Caitlyn Jenner is quite possibly one of the most controversial non-political figures to emerge within the last five years. In a relatively short time-span, the reality star has managed to appear on countless magazine covers, garner millions of social media followers, receive the ESPY Lifetime Achievement Award, have her own TV Show, and even beef with the Kardashians.
Now, could a run as your city's Mayor or governor of your state be her next accomplishment? If not the Presidency . . .
While promoting her new book, The Secrets of My Life, Caitlyn Jenner has been doing a media tour during which she has discussed why she voted for Donald Trump and would she run herself.
"I've [had] way too many skeletons in my closet and now I don't have one secret left!" she said, laughing, while speaking on The View on Tuesday. "Or would I be better working from the inside," she pondered. "If that is the case ... I would seriously look at a run. It just depends where I could be more effective.
When Joy Behar says she could be the first woman president, Caitlyn responds "Yeah, there you go, there you go!"
On The View, Cait also spoke about voting for Trump and defended it.
"I'm not a one-issue voter and obviously -- I know, I'm not stupid -- the Republican party does not do a good job when it comes to equality and the entire LGBT community. The Democrats are better there," Jenner -- an advocate for the LGBTQ community -- explained. "But for me, I've been around a long time, I'm probably more conservative. I believe in little things like the Constitution and freedom. I believe in minimal government, and so Republicans have done a better job in that direction."
"My loyalty is not with Donald Trump," she added. "My loyalty is not with the Republican party. My loyalty is with my community, and I will fight for this community."
